I must say Khwaja Pervez is a very versatile poet- he can write anything from saucy Punjabi discos to greatest ghazlas and nazams.Another special personal song of Khwaja Pervez which Noor Jehan sang was:

ye badii ajeeb sii baat hai,

jo chala gaya mujhe chod kar,

wohii aaj tak mere saath hai.

Wow another one of my absolute favs!!!!!!! I have never paid too much attention to who the lyricists are but must say am getting to be a fan of Khwaja Pervez. And what enhances all this is the way Madam enunciates each word, sings out each feeling!!!! When melody, poetry and great vocals combine one is just mesmerised!!!!
