Duniya Kab Chup Rehti Hai - Pehli Nazar (1977)

Noor Jehan sang many great numbers for the composer Master Inayat Husein. This song is from a film released in late 1970s. In the song, the female pleads with her lover to initiate a passionate rebellion, one in which the lovers transcend and are united regardless of the
world. Noor Jehan's full-throated voice produces ecstatic effects as if she is ready to cross all barriers for the sake of love. Qateel Shifai's poetry is excellent, he could write songs in hardcore urdu as well as the ones using such Hindi words. This film had another nice classical number by Noor Jehan, "saajanaa re kyun bheege tore nain."
